SUMMARY 
Trilith LIVE is designed to host concerts, rehearsals, live audience productions, conventions, corporate meetings, performing arts, tradeshows, exhibitions, special events, and so much more! Spanning 530,000 square feet, Trilith LIVE features a 2,400-seat theater, 50,000 square feet of sound stages, multi-purpose meeting rooms, support space, dressing rooms, green rooms, production offices, suites, wardrobe, audience holding areas, outdoor plaza areas, full-service catering and concessions, box office, and a 730-space parking deck.
Trilith LIVE is seeking an accomplished venue professional to join the team as Director of Production. The Director of Production, personally or through secondary staff or outside vendors, is responsible for directing, managing, planning, and coordinating all audio, video, and lighting systems and equipment required to run, maintain, service, and support the facility and/or the events, ensuring technical production needs are met. 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Keeps the mission, vision and values of Trilith Live at the forefront of decision making and action; builds strategic and collaborative relationships and interacts with others in a way that builds confidence and trust; provides excellent customer service by taking action to accomplish objectives, maintains high levels of work and Supervise labor calls, along with any additional contracted labor force for production
• Communicate with clients to obtain necessary technical requirements for developing and executing a plan to create diagrams, fulfill riders, conduct advances, schedule and supervise labor calls, and process equipment orders for events and other event related production information.
• Stage, set, operate, and strike all A/V/L equipment needed to successfully execute events while maintaining a high degree of safety. 
• Ensure facility rules, regulations, life safety codes, and policies are adhered to such as ADA compliance, NFPA life safety codes, and OSHA Guidelines.
• Facilitate scheduling, training, and evaluation of part-time production employees and any additional contracted labor force for production.
• Ensure set up is completed as required with the proper equipment provided.
• Work with all departments as needed to maintain technical equipment in the venue.
• Manage and maintain lighting, audio, and video equipment, ensure proper operations of all equipment, yearly maintenance of equipment and oversee installations, repair, and upgrades.
• Administer follow-up inspections to ensure work is complete and provide evaluation and safety reports.
• Provide quality service and execution through daily operations and event production.
• Facilitate venue readiness during load-in, show, load-out, and meeting room AV services.
• Participate in securing the venue during daily operations, event days, emergency operations and venue closures.
• Maintain production records for facility and events and verify internal consistency of associated documents.
• Manage inventory of technical assets as well as completing preventive maintenance work orders for inventoried equipment
• Required to work irregular schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate business and client needs in the facility.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises Full and Part-Time Staff and Vendors; interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with General Manager and Assistant General Manager, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited technical college with a theatre, technical production emphasis is preferred.
• Additional experience may be substituted for education.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on, professional event production experience in the industry for arena, theatre, stadium, and/or convention center.
• Ability to set up, operate, and strike sound, lighting, audio-visual and other industry related equipment
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding in industry terminology, NFPA life safety codes, general and local IATSE policies and procedures, facility capabilities, operational procedures, OSHA guidelines, event coordination and production/technical related services.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of theatrical rigging, stage building, carpentry, show power, electrical work, exhibition show sets and field wiring, banquet sets and meeting room functions.
• Possess any licenses, certificates or training required by local, state, or national authorities for the operation of the equipment found at the facility, in particular rigging, carpentry, stage production, electrical, vehicles.
• Ability to work with limited supervision, prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously while exercising sound judgment and safety protocols.
• Ability to train and direct employees to plan and assign work in an efficient and effective manner.
• Skilled in Windows, MS Office, AutoCAD, and Adobe software.
• A good knowledge of the principles of administration related to facilities and services in the event management industry. 
• Ability to work well as a collaborator.
• Requires ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Possess any licenses, certificates or training required by local, state, or national authorities for the operation of the equipment found at the facility, in particular rigging, carpentry, stage production, electrical, vehicles.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move in excess of 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
